Joseph Marlin Goulet – OBIT

Joseph Marlin Goulet, 76, of Crookston, MN, passed away on February 26, 2024, at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND.

Joe loved to spend time with his family, kids, and grandchildren.  He had an incredibly kind heart and his sense of humor put smiles on everyone’s face.  He liked to go cruising downtown on his bike and in his wheelchair, enjoyed fishing, softball, and playing outside with his grandchildren.  Evident in his life, Joe had a great deal of love for his family and put a lot of emphasis on time spent with them.  Joe leaves his family with countless memories and stories to tell of his personality and time on this earth that they will cherish for years to come.

Left to mourn Joe’s passing are his children:  Marlin Jr. Goulet of Crookston, Sabrina (Jason) Denny of Lawton, OK, Rose Marie Dale of Crookston, Travis Petterson of Thief River Falls, Christina Goulet, Shane Goulet, Shawna Goulet, Amanda Goulet, and Samantha Goulet, all of Crookston; 20 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren; Brothers and Sisters:  Dorthy Schell, Donna Gunsolley, Joseph Lloyd (Angie) Goulet, Gerald Dean (Denise) Goulet, and Joseph Rodney (Barb) Goulet.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Lena Goulet; Son, Billy Joe; Daughter, Lori Dee; Joseph Mearl Goulet, Louis Andrew Goulet, Deloris Chambers, Joseph Earl (Butch) Goulet, Joseph Andrey Goulet, Joseph Audrey Goulet, Louise Foster, Remona Hoffman, Twin brother Joseph Marvin Goulet, and Judy Cook.

Joe will be greatly missed by all who loved him.   May God Bless the memory of Joseph Marlin Goulet.

The Funeral Service honoring Joe’s life will be on Friday, March 1, 2024, at 4:00 PM at Stenshoel-Houske Funeral Home in Crookston.  Services will be livestreamed, the link for which can be found under Joseph’s obituary on www.stenshoelhouske.com.  Burial will be decided upon at a later date.
