The winner of the KROX Crookston High School Pick the Score contest was Karen Arel.
Karen picked Breckenridge Cowboys to beat the Crookston Pirates by 28 to 14. The correct score was 26 to 13.
Karen received $10 gift certificates from local businesses including Advanced Tire and Auto, All Seasons Lube Center and Car Wash, B & E Meats, Bridge Street Candle Company, Crookston Eagles #873, Crookston True Value, El Gordito Market, Erickson Embroidery and Design, Happy Joe’s Pizza and Ice Cream Parlor and Minakwa Golf Course all of Crookston, Ness Café in Erskine and Snow Sled Inn Bar and Grill in Gentilly. Plus a $20 gift certificates from Eagle Thrifty White Pharmacy, Hugo’s Family Marketplace, Irishman’s Shanty, Purdys Shoe Store in Thief River Falls and R.B.J.’s Restaurant. Plus a pair of jeans from Fleet Supply, a large one item pizza from Mugoo’s Pizza, and KROX added $71 as a bonus, a dollar for each year KROX has been in business.
