Crookston’s Katherine Geist finished first and broke a course record at the Warroad Cross Country Invitational. Katherine set the 5K course record with a time of 19:22.46. Emily Gillette finished in 30th place with a time of 26:04.08.
“The girls ran well on a beautiful day in Warroad,” said East Grand Forks Cross Country Coach Kirk Misialek. “Training has been good and there is a lot of work to be done before the middle of the season.”
The next race will be September 13 in Ada.
