Crookston Pirate Girls Cross Country runner, Katherine Geist, won the Roseau Cross Country meet 5K with a time of 18:45. The time was almost 90 seconds better than the runner-up. “That is a crazy time, outstanding,” said East Grand Forks Cross Country Coach Kirk Misialek. “She is a force to be reckoned with in Class A or AA.” Katherine ran at a pace of 3:45 per kilometer.
Emily Gillette finished in 25th place with a time of 25:46.
