Kenneth Visser – OBIT

Kenneth Dean Visser, 78, passed peacefully and surrounded by family, on Sunday, June 8, 2025, under the
care of Hospice at Bethany Retirement Living on University in Fargo, ND. Kenny was born on May 16, 1947, to Kenneth and Margaret Visser in Crookston, MN. The first of three children, Kenny was the apple of Margaret’s eye for the first five years of his life. In Kenny’s youth, he
enjoyed anything that had to do with animals and being outdoors. He played football and ran track, graduating from Ada High School in May 1965.
Kenny graduated from NDSU in May 1969 earning a double major in Agricultural Economy and Animal Science. While there, he was a member of the Farmhouse Fraternity, and active in the Saddle & Sirloin Club. He was also a proud member of the Army National Guard from 1970-1976.

Kenny is survived by his wife of nearly 55 years, Wanda, sons Scott Visser (Emily Van Hart), Jared (Roxanne) Visser, Geoff (Kasia) Visser, and Kurtis Visser; grandsons Taylor (Kayla) Visser, Natan Visser, and Krystian Visser; great granddaughters Elouise Visser and Evelyn Visser; siblings Clay (Luanne) Visser and Beth (Stan) Wolf, brothers-in-law Wayne (Karen) Floan and Brian (Pam) Floan and sister-in-law Brenda (Steve) Johnson. Kenny is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Kenny is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Margaret Visser, in-laws Wesley and Betty Floan, brother-in-law Bertrum Floan, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Celebration of Life Service with full military rites: 2:00 PM, Monday, June 16, 2025 at Fredrikson-Ganje Funeral Home, Ada, MN.
Visitation: Two hours prior to the celebration service at the funeral home.
