The Kiwanis Terrific Kids program is beginning its sixth year honoring a fifth-grade student in each of the four classes at Highland Elementary. The students set goals with their teachers and strive to achieve them. Goals are set on the basis of grades, citizenship, and having positive attitudes toward schoolwork and other students.
The first four Terrific Kids of the year are Gunner Stewart, Isaac Luckow, Brooklyn Waldal, and Brea Lessard.
