The exciting moments of pregnancy turned to sorrow for Amanda Marquardt and Kodey Hegreberg of Perley, MN, with the death of their precious baby boy, Koda Anton Hegreberg. Koda was born and passed into Heaven, and into the arms of Jesus on May 7, 2021 at Essentia Hospital in Fargo, ND. 
Even though we never got the chance to know Koda, we do know how much we love him! Our hearts are breaking that he had to leave us, and he will be missed by so many.
Koda is survived by his parents, Kodey and Amanda; sisters, Izabel Hegreberg, Alexus Thompson, and Balie, Isabella and Jordan Marquardt; brothers, Jaxon and Connor Hegreberg, Malachi Flores, and Ethan Marquardt, all at home; paternal grandmother, Nancy Hegreberg (Howie Freeman) of Hunter, ND; maternal grandfather, Ernest Azure of Fargo, ND; and many, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Paul Hegreberg; maternal grandmother, Theodora (Teddi) Eagle; and his great-grandparents.
He will be missed by all.
Funeral: 1:00 PM, Monday, May 17, 2021 at Halstad Lutheran Church, Halstad, MN, following all of the Minnesota and CDC COVID-19 social distancing guidelines. All must wear a mask to attend.
Visitation: A walk-through visitation will take place two hours before the funeral at the church.
Interment: East Marsh River Lutheran Cemetery, rural Halstad, MN.
