Kyle Lomsdalen, age 29, of Ulen, MN, died unexpectedly of health complications on Monday, May 31, 2021, at his home in Ulen.
Kyle Allen Lomsdalen was born on September 1, 1991, son of Kathy and Kerwin (Renee) Lomsdalen in Fargo, ND. He attended Ulen-Hitterdal Public School, and after 10th grade, Kyle began his career in construction. He started working for Green Construction, a job he was very proud of. Kyle had many talents. Always making the most of each one. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially making time to go fishing, hunting, and horseback riding. He shared his love of the outdoors with his pets, a dog “Chester” and a cat “Beans”. For several years, he lived with and cared for his grandfather, Kermit. His time spent with friends and family was what he cherished the most. Kyle had an easy-going, calming nature and infectious smile that will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his mother, Kathy Lomsdalen; his father and stepmother: Kerwin and Renee Lomsdalen, all of Ulen; two sisters, Alicia (Jeff) Gillespie of Audubon, MN and Ashley Lomsdalen of Hitterdal, MN; nephews: Mayson and Landen Gillespie and Bryce Lomsdalen; niece, Kenleigh Gillespie; his grandfather, Kermit Lomsdalen; many cousins, step-siblings, aunts and uncles. Kyle is preceded in death by his grandparents: Eskie and Irene Jensen; grandmother, Doris Lomsdalen; uncles, Darwin Lomsdalen and Gary Jensen; and niece, Gracie Gillespie.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at the Ulen Community Park, North Shelter. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 11, 2021, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Anderson Family Funeral Home, Twin Valley, MN., and one hour prior to the service at the Ulen Park.
