Lake Agassiz Regional Library is introducing a new and improved option for those wishing to print documents wirelessly from home or in the library. The library system has installed Princh, a cloud-based printing solution allowing users to print documents from their mobile devices and laptops.
“Wireless printing is a great option for people who don’t have printers at home,” said Liz Lynch, Executive Director of Lake Agassiz Regional Library. “We’re seeing a lot of people wondering where to go to print worksheets for their children who are participating in virtual learning, as well as job seekers needing to print out items for their job search and home cooks printing recipes. We’re pleased to offer this service, particularly during the pandemic when so many people are spending much more time at home.”
To get started using the wireless printing service, users are encouraged to visit larl.org/wirelessprinting or to download the Princh app on an Android or iOS device. Lake Agassiz Regional Library charges $.10 per black and white copy and $.50 per color copy and payment methods have been expanded to include credit cards and mobile payment options.
The improved wireless printing option is one of several new services introduced by the library system in response to the pandemic, including wireless hotspots available for check-out and hoopla, a free-of-charge streaming service similar to Netflix.
