Crookston High School graduate and current linebacker on the Crown College Football team, Luke Edlund, has been awarded the UMAC Football All-Sportsmanship award.
Edlund just finished up his collegiate playing career last weekend with 21 tackles on the year and 2.5 tackles for a loss. The individual highlight for Edlund would have been the 17 tackles he had in a game last season, which was one tackle shy of tying the school record.
Edlund was a three sport student-athlete at Crookston High School where he played football, wrestling, and baseball. He is the son of Don and Dawn Edlund.
