MAN ARRESTED SATURDAY FOR DISORDERLY CONDUCT AT GRAND FORKS WALMART

The male arrested at Walmart on Saturday, June 1 has been identified as 26-year-old Grand Forks resident, Brandon King.  There were no threats made at the time of the initial incident, and there are not believed to be any future threats related to the purchase of the BB gun.  At this time, there are no other pending charges related to the incident. 

Original Story

The Grand Forks Police Department was dispatched to Wal Mart on Saturday, June 1 at approximately 7:16 p.m. for a report of an unknown male possibly loading a handgun in the entryway of Wal Mart.

Wal Mart was checked by officers.  The subject was not located in the store.  Checking video surveillance, it was observed the male purchased a BB gun in Wal Mart and checked the property while in the entryway of the store.  He was observed leaving Wal Mart just as officers were arriving.

Officers were still on location when the subject returned to the store.  Officers recognized him and began interviewing him.  The male became very uncooperative and vulgar.  He was arrested for Disorderly Conduct for his behavior. 

He was transported to jail and attempts are being made to identify him.
