The victim, in this case, has been identified as Larry K. Haroldson, 60 years-of-age, no permanent address.
Investigation into this incident is active and ongoing. The cause of death has not yet been determined and at this point, there does not appear to be any signs of foul play.

ORIGINAL RELEASE
On Monday, January 7 officers from the Grand Forks Police Department were requested to do a welfare check on a male found sitting in a vehicle.
The male was found to be deceased. It is unknown how long the vehicle was in this location. The Grand Forks Fire Department and Altru Ambulance responded to the location as well.
Detectives from the Investigations Bureau responded to the call. Investigation is on going.
There is no reason to believe there is a threat to society nor are we seeking any persons at this time.
Identification is being withheld pending family notification.
