Marilyn Miller – Obit

Marilyn Miller, Red Lake Falls, MN, 85, passed away on Monday June 10, 2019 at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND.

Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls, MN with Father Bob Schreiner Officiating and Deacon John Bruggeman. Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery at Red Lake Falls, MN.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Marilyn Jean Miller was born September 28, 1933 at home in Red lake Falls, MN, the daughter of  Wallace “Pete” and Florence (Bendal) Miller.  She was baptized at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on October 8, 1933 by Father Henry Pelger. Marilyn attended St. Joseph School in Red Lake Falls for 8 years and then attended Lafayette High School graduating class of 1951.

She worked in Minneapolis, MN, Seattle, WA, Los Angeles, CA and then back to Minneapolis.  She retired out of St. Paul, MN, having worked in the banking industry. Following her retirement she moved back to Red Lake Falls in 2014.

Marilyn attended St. Joseph Church, Red Lake Falls, MN.  She enjoyed attending plays and musicals.

She is survived by her brother James Miller, Red Lake Falls, along with several cousins. Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents.
