The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office was called to a train/passenger vehicle collision on Monday afternoon. Clarence Dau was driving westbound on West Park Avenue, and the Burlington Northern Sante Fe train was southbound on the track through Warren. The Warren Fire Department and North Valley Health Center Ambulance also responded to the accident. Dau was taken to the North Valley Hospital in Warren and transported to Altru Hospital later that evening and remains in the hospital for observation.
