CROOKSTON CITY ATTORNEY FILES A COMPLAINT FOR DISORDERLY CONDUCT CHARGE AGAINST WALMART EMPLOYEE

The Crookston Police Department responded to WalMart, 1930 Sahlstrom
Drive in Crookston at about 6:30 PM on Sunday, January 6th, 2019 on a
report of an assault. Joshua Baatz, 25 of Crookston stated he was
assaulted when an employee; Patricia Mendrano, 53 of Grand Forks,
allegedly knocked a cell phone out of his hand during a conversation in
which Mendrano was reviewing Baatz’ receipt.
The Crookston City Attorney has reviewed the incident mentioned above
and has filed a complaint in Polk County District Court of Disorderly
Conduct for Patricia Mendrano. Further details of the complaint can be
found by obtaining or reviewing that document through the Courts.
