MILL & OVERLAY ON SOUTH 5TH STREET TO TAKE PLACE THIS WEEKEND IN GRAND FORKS

Crews will be closing South 5th Street from Demers Avenue to Woodland Avenue on Friday, July 16, 2021, as crews begin a mill and overlay project on the road.

The grinding (mill) of the road surface will take one day, Friday, July 16th.  Crews will then reopen the road for the weekend.

The road will close again on Monday, July 19, 2021 for the paving (overlay) of the surface.  The paving will be done in 3 sections over 3 days.

South 5th Street will be completely open to traffic at the end of the day on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, weather permitting.
