The City of Grand Forks will being doing mill and 0verlay projects in three separate areas in Grand Forks beginning on Thursday, June 17, 2021.
Crews will mill (grind) all three areas on Thursday and Friday this week. This will not result in any closures. Crews will use flaggers to handle traffic around the grinder.
Starting Monday, June 21, 2021, crews will overlay (resurface) these areas. While crews are resurfacing a specific area, there will be a temporary road closure in that area that will last a few hours.
The three areas in this Mill & Overlay project are:
- North 3rd Street at 8th Avenue North
- 2nd Avenue North from North 8th Street to North 11th Street
- 10th Avenue North area by North 24th Street & North 25th Street (this also includes 8th Avenue North at North 25th Street)
Resurfacing all 3 areas will take a week, weather permitting.
