The Minnesota Chamber of Commerce Leadership Fund PAC announced today its endorsement of Mark Johnson (R-East Grand Forks) for the Minnesota Senate in the upcoming August 9 primary election and November 8 general election.
“Employers and employees are facing uncertain times and need support from Minnesota’s decision makers to ensure our economy returns to full strength,” said Laura Bordelon, Treasurer of the Leadership Fund PAC. “Mark understands what it takes to grow Minnesota in today’s challenging economy. This endorsement reflects his willingness to support Minnesota employers and employees in Senate District 01 and around the state.”
“My strong record supporting job growth in our local business community speaks for itself,” Johnson said. “I am grateful to receive this endorsement as I fight to make Minnesota a better place to start and grow a business.”
The Leadership Fund PAC Board uses specific criteria to determine its endorsements, including responses to its candidate questionnaire, leadership on key business issues, and voting records of incumbent candidates.
