The 32nd Annual Miss Crookston Scholarship Pageant is being held Friday night at the Crookston High School auditorium.
Macy Fee, daughter of Chris and Tiffany Fee, was crowned Miss Crookston 2022. Macy won the Personal Interview, Talent, and On-stage Presence.
The first runner-up was Hannah Brouse, daughter of Callie Darco and Andrew Brouse. Hannah won the Evening Gown competition.
The second runner-up was Emilee Tate, daughter of Bill and Rene Tate. Emily won the Freedom Award.
MacKenzie Aamoth, daughter of Cassie and Luke Rudie, won Miss Congeniality.
Other pageant contestants were: Julia Lallier, daughter of Jennifer and Derek Bruggeman.
Miss Crookston 1992 Carmen (Kreibech) Johnson was emcee.
Jean Ann Bienek is the Miss Crookston Pageant Director and committee members include, Adrianne Winger, Lindsay Erdman, and Judy Meyer.
Debbie Fontaine choreographed the production number. Steve and Joe Krueger were in charge of the lights and sounds. Videography was done by Bo Brorby of KJAD Productions. Photographer was Lacia Hanson. Flowers were provided by Montague’s Flower Shop and Crookston Floral. The sashes were from Ye Ole Print Shoppe. The contestant interview host was St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
$4,750 dollars in educational scholarships were awarded, with $2,275 in UMC scholarships awarded. In the past 30 years, 232 young women have participated in the program and there has been over $78,000 in education scholarships awarded.
