Motorists traveling on Highway 1 in Oslo can expect a bridge closure beginning December 9 through December 23, as MnDOT crews begin maintenance work. Bridge crews will be adding strengthening steel plates during this closure. Work will be performed from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekdays. The bridge will be open to traffic through the evening and weekend. Motorists should plan on using an alternate route.
