The Minnesota Department of Transportation has lifted the no travel advisory on highways in northwest Minnesota previously issued on Sunday. Visibility has improved in these areas, however, roads are completely snow and ice covered so motorists are advised to reduce speeds and drive according to conditions.
Important: even if state and federal highways are passable, travel may still be difficult on county, township and municipal roads. Check with local agencies for their road conditions.
