The Celebrate the Young Child event took place at Castle Park on Tuesday evening. Over 100 children and parents attended and enjoyed “Follow the Yellow Brick Road to Happily Ever After.” Children and families were entertained by many fairy tale stories: Three Little Pigs, Little Red Riding Hood, Three Billy Goats Gruff, The Princess and the Frog, and singing Disney songs with “Miss Crookston” Victoria Proulx. Children were given a storytelling mask, capes, microphones/maracas, a frog finger puppet, and a book, along with decorating their very own crown!
