MOTOCYCLIST, DRIVER TRANSPORTED TO HOSPITAL AFTER MONDAY NIGHT CRASH IN GRAND FORKS

On Monday, October 12, around 9:12 p.m., officers of the Grand Forks Police Department responded to an injury accident at S. 34th St. & 32nd Ave. S. Upon arrival, preliminary investigation indicated that a 2005 Chevrolet pickup was making a left-hand turn onto S 34th St from 32nd Ave S.

A 2016 Harley Davidson was westbound on 32nd Ave S when it struck the front passenger side of the pickup. The Harley Davidson had significant damage and the Chevrolet pickup had disabling damage.

The driver of the pickup was a 65-year-old Ardoch resident, Gregory Slominski. The driver of the Harley Davidson was a 41-year-old Grand Forks resident, Corey Anderson. Both Slominski and Anderson were transported to Altru Hospital for unknown injuries. A citation was issued to Slominski for Failure to Yield.

The Grand Forks Police Department was assisted by members of the Grand Forks Fire Department, and Altru Ambulance Service. Anyone with any information regarding this case is asked to contact the police department by one of the following methods:
