It has been a pretty amazing eight days for Crookston High School senior, Muira MacRae. She finished first runner-up at the Miss Crookston Pageant on Friday, August 17 and on Saturday afternoon she won the Miss Northern Lakes pageant in Bemidji. There were 13 girls from Northern Minnesota competing in the contest and MacRae was crowned Miss Northern Lakes. She will now be able to compete in Miss Minnesota and will also receive a $500 scholarship, crown, and sash.
