From 1955 to 1957, Myron proudly served his country in the United States Army, earning the Good Conduct Medal. He and his twin brother are recognized as the oldest military twins from Red Lake County, a distinction of which he was very proud.

He later found a long-term career at Detroiter Mobile Homes, where he worked faithfully for about 30 years before retiring. Not ready to slow down, he went on to work an additional 10 years at the Red Lake County Courthouse before retiring again.
Myron was a true handyman who loved working on old tractors, fixing things, and lending a helping hand to anyone in need. He deeply cherished time spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and he formed many lasting friendships throughout his life through his generosity and willingness to help others. A devoted dog lover, Myron always made sure his four-legged friends were spoiled and well-loved.
He was a longtime member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Red Lake Falls, where his faith and community ties remained important parts of his life.
Myron is survived by his wife, Carol Cote; his children, Ricky (Michelle) Cote of Mentor, MN, Cheri Baldwin of Fargo, ND, and Lori (Guy) Ford of West Fargo, ND; his grandchildren, Jessica (Stanton) Wang of Fertile, MN, Jordan Cote of Mentor, MN, Brandon Ford of West Fargo, ND, Chase Baldwin of Fargo, ND, Colton Baldwin of Fargo, ND, Pete (Tori) Schirrick of Fargo, ND, Emily Schirrick of Fargo, ND, and Grace Schirrick of Grand Forks, ND; and his greatgrandchildren, Keyton, Kade, and Koldyn Wang, Garrett Rankin Ford, and Atticus Zorget.
