Nancy Elaine Anderson – OBIT

Nancy Elaine Anderson, 71, Fertile, MN, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at Riverview Hospital in Crookston, MN, surrounded by her family.

Nancy was born on March 18, 1953, in Fargo, ND, to Carl & Georgie Fuchs. Nancy lived in Felton, MN, with her family until her completion of 4th grade, when her family then moved to Lake Park, MN. Nancy graduated from Lake Park High School in 1971. Nancy married Bob Anderson on June 17, 1978, in Lake Park, MN. Bob passed away in 2017.

Nancy worked in the retail business most of her life in clothing and hardware stores. Nancy enjoyed gardening and fishing with Bob. She also loved playing cards and going to the casino.

Nancy is survived by brothers, Wally (Sandy) Horace, ND, and Lyle (Diane) Fertile, MN; sisters, Ginny (Dave) Fertile, MN, and Ione, Billings, MT; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her god son, Brent Bloom.

Celebration of Life Service: 3:00 PM, Monday, April 22, 2024, at Erikson-Vik-Ganje Funeral Home, Fertile, MN.

Visitation: One hour before the service at the funeral home.

Inurnment: North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan, ND. (At a later date)
