The Crookston School District interviewed four people on Saturday for the position of Activities Director. After the committee unanimously chose Nathan Lubarski, Superintendent Jeremy Olson was able to work out a contract that was suitable for both sides and Lubarski accepted the position!! He will replace Greg Garmen who is retiring after the school year, June 30, 2022. Olson commented on a very good pool of applicants and was happy to present Lubarski for the position, which has yet to be approved by the Crookston School Board at their next meeting, Monday, March 28th at 5:00 PM at the Crookston High School Choir/Orchestra Room. Lubarski was happy to be offered the position, “Hello Jeremy, thank you very much for this offer of employment. It is with great pride and gratitude that I accept this offer of employment and I am thoroughly overjoyed to begin work for the Crookston School District!! Thank you again!! I can’t wait to get started! GO PIRATES!!”
At the board meeting on March 28th, Lubarski will also have the ‘interim’ label taken off his other position he holds at the Crookston High School, Head Football coach at Crookston High School where he completed his first year as coach this past fall. This again pending school board approval. Lubarski has coached youth football, youth basketball, does a lot of work with the weight room at CHS as well.
