NORTH STAR 4-H SAYS THANK YOU FOR WINTER GEAR DRIVE DONATIONS

North Star 4-H Club wishes to thank the community for their recent Winter Gear Drive donations. Donations included hand-knit hats, scarves, socks, 75 pairs of hand-knit mittens, snow pants, and other winter gear. Club members also purchased fleece and made 120 hats for the drive with funding provided by the Minnesota 4-H Helping Hands Program. The donations were shared with the Care and Share Center and area schools, including Washington Elementary, Our Savior’s Elementary, Cathedral Elementary, Highland Elementary, Crookston High School, Fisher School, and New Heights Elementary.

4-H is an out-of-school, hands-on learning program for anyone in Kindergarten through one year past high school. Youth choose a project that is interesting to them and explore it with peers and caring adults. 4-H clubs are groups of youth who want to learn together and meet in every part of Minnesota.
