The Northwest Minnesota Arts Council (NWMAC) is pleased to announce there will be an Artist Reception for the exhibition of artwork by father and son Hallock artists Rock and Beau Bakken. The art exhibit installation, Bakken: The Artistry of Father and Son opened October 1 and will run through November 30 at the NWMAC Gallery at Northland Community and Technical College in Thief River Falls.
The Artist Reception is open to the public and will be held Saturday, October 24 from 2-5 p.m. at the gallery in Thief River Falls. Refreshments will be served. Masks and social distancing will be required. This will be an opportunity to purchase art, as both artists have artwork that is for sale.
