NORTHWEST MINNESOTA FOUNDATION PRESIDENT SAYS STAFF WILL WORK REMOTELY IN EMAIL TO SUBSCRIBERS

Greetings,

We are monitoring closely developments related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The health and wellbeing of our staff, partners, and communities are vitally important to us. We are committed to doing our part to slow down the spread of the virus, so we are implementing changes that follow the guidelines and strategies outlined by the Minnesota Department of Health.

What this means for us:

Starting Monday, March 16, Northwest Minnesota Foundation staff are transitioning to work remotely with the plan to be fully remote by Wednesday, March 18. We are committed to being here and being responsive to the needs in the region. We have a NMF Continuous Operations Plan and we will do everything we can to maintain our business operations during this time.

The best way to reach us during this time is by email. You can view our staff directory with email addresses. You may also email us at frontdesk@nwmf.org. We will be monitoring this email account closely.

This is our plan until April 6. We will communicate updates as we get closer to this date.

Starting Monday, March 16, our offices are closed to visitors and the general public. We are closing our Conference Center and meeting spaces for any use. We regret the inconvenience this causes for our partners and those with upcoming reservations.

We are here for our communities. We are entering an unprecedented time for the region’s communities, non-profits, businesses, and organizations, particularly the healthcare and emergency sectors. We are only beginning to understand the level of disruption the COVID-19 pandemic may bring. We will be reaching out to our partners to learn more about the needs throughout the region and looking at response options. We will share more about this as information becomes available.

If you have specific ideas, please share them with us through email at frontdesk@nwmf.org. It will take all of us working together to get through this.

We will continue to monitor this dynamic situation and adapt as needed. Please reach out to us with questions or concerns and we will continue to communicate updates.

We wish all safety and good health.

Sincerely,

Karen White
President & CEO, Northwest Minnesota Foundation
