OBIT – Bradley Harold Jenkins

Bradley Harold Jenkins, 71, of Crookston, MN, passed away early Saturday morning, May 20, 2023, in the Benedictine Living Community Crookston, where he had been a resident since January 13, 2022.

Brad was born on May 16, 1952, in Fargo, ND, one of four sons of the union of Harold and Angela (Erickson) Jenkins. He grew up in Moorhead, MN and was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. Brad attended Oak Grove High School in Fargo and graduated with the Class of 1970. While in school and for a few years after he was a member of the ‘Gentle Egg’, a rock band that played locally. After working in sales for a few years Brad moved to Crookston where he purchased a home.

Brad is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Deborah Jenkins of Fargo, ND; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Jenkins; mother, Angela Jenkins Vollrath Brady; 2 brothers, Douglas, who died on October 31, 1970, and David, who died on December 4, 2015; and a niece, Amelia. Blessed be the memory of Bradley Harold Jenkins.

A memorial service honoring Brad’s life will be held in the Stenshoel-Houske Funeral Home, Crookston, at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, June 15, 2023, with Pastor David Finsaas, officiating. Visitation with the family will be for one hour prior to the service. The funeral will be live streamed by going to Brad’s obituary page at www.stenshoelhouske.com and clicking on the prompt to view. Messages of condolence to the family may be made on the website as well.
