University of Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagle women’s basketball player Isieoma Odor (Sr., F/C, Bloomington) earned NSIC North Player of the Week for the second consecutive week as announced by the league office. Odor is a third-time honoree for the Golden Eagles.
Odor averaged 16.5 points and 13.5 rebounds in wins over Mayville State University and Valley City State University last week. She has tallied double-doubles in all four games this season as the Golden Eagles are off to their best start since the 2004-05 season with a 4-0 mark. Odor was 11-of-14 from the foul line this week for 78.6 percent. Odor added two assists and two steals.
Odor is averaging 17.0 points and 13.8 rebounds per game for the Golden Eagles. Odor is shooting 47.1 percent on the season and 80.0 percent from the charity stripe.
Odor joined Caleigh Rodning, who was named NSIC South Division Player of the Week. The Golden Eagles head to Bellingham, Wash., to face Saint Martin’s University and Western Washington University.
