ONE PERSON FILES FOR CITY COUNCIL AND ONE PERSON SCHOOL BOARD ON FINAL DAY OF FILING

Filing for the Crookston School Board and Crookston City Council and Mayor general election is now complete, and filings are now closed.

One person filed for the Crookston City Council and the School Board on Tuesday. The complete list of filings can be seen below-

CITY OF CROOKSTON FILINGS –

MAYOR – (Current seat held by Dale Stainbrook) Clayton Briggs (current Crookston City Councilman in Ward 3) and Dale Stainbrook filed.
WARD 2 – (Current seat held by Steve Erickson, who has said he won’t run again) No filings for Ward 2.
WARD 4 – (Current seat held by Donald R. Cavalier) Donald R. Cavalier and Rob Silvers filed.
WARD 6 – (Current seat held by Dylane Klatt) Dylane Klatt and Morgan Hibma filed.
COUNCIL MEMBER AT LARGE – (Current seat held by Tom Vedbraaten) Tim Menard and Lane DeVoge filed.

 

CROOKSTON SCHOOL BOARD FILINGS – (There are three openings for Crookston School Board. Up for election are Patty Dillabough, Adrianne Winger, and Tim Dufault.)

SCHOOL BOARD – Adrianne Winger, Patty Dillabough, and Tim Dufault filed to run for re-election.  Marcia Meine, Marianne Isaacs, and Mary Gosse also filed.  There will be six people running for the three openings.

 

POLK COUNTY COMMISSIONER FILINGS – (only accepting write-in candidacies for the general election on November 8)

DISTRICT 2 – (Current seat held by Joan Lee) Joan Lee and Dennis Boucher filed.

DISTRICT 4 – (Current seat held by Warren Strandell) Warren Strandell and Kurt Knutson filed.

DISTRICT 5 – (Current seat held by Mark Holy) Mark Holy filed for re-election.

If a person is interested in a write-in candidate, you must file a written request by mail to the Polk County Government Center to have your votes counted if people vote for you on the write-in section of the ballot. Write-in requests must be filed by November 1 to be counted for the general election on November 8.

Filing for the School Board, City Council, and mayor are now closed, and the people that filed will be on the ballot for the general election on November 8.
