OPTICARE IN CROOKSTON AND EAST GRAND FORKS RESUME EXAMS ON MAY 11

As of May 11, Opticare will resume providing comprehensive vision and eye health examinations for all patients. Internally, they have strengthened their already stringent standards of disinfection and mitigation of disease transmission. They have revised the scheduling and reception areas to create spaces between patients. Opticare staff will be using masks and protective eyewear, and will screen staff and patients for symptoms of disease before coming through our clinics.

Opticare clinics will follow the infection control recommendations made by the American Optometric Association (AOA), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). In keeping with those recommendations, during this time we request that our patients please call to reschedule appointments if you have:
*Fever at or above 100.4° F
*Cough
*Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
*Cold/flu symptoms
*Sore throat
*Nausea or vomiting
*Headache
*Chills
*Or have been recently exposed to someone with the coronavirus

annual eye health exams, follow up office visits, and eye emergencies.
*Please schedule appointments for glasses adjustments or to pick up new glasses. Please schedule an appointment to pick up contact lenses.
*Please call our clinic from your vehicle when you arrive. Please wait in your vehicle until we give you instructions on entering the building.

*Patients and necessary companions are asked to wear masks while in the clinic.
*Please use the hand sanitizer available at the front desks upon your arrival.
*We will ask you the wellness screening questions above and take your temperature.
*If you have any of the symptoms, we will reschedule your appointment and ask you to contact your primary healthcare provider.
