Patricia Ann “Pat” Stanislowski- Obit

Patricia Ann “Pat” Stanislowski, age 74, of Erskine, MN, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021, at the Pioneer Memorial Care Center in Erskine, MN.

Pat was born on March 26, 1946, in Grand Forks, ND, the daughter of the late Benjamin and Agnes (Gruhot) Stanislowski.  The family moved between Oslo, Crookston, and Mcintosh, MN, in Pat’s childhood.  She graduated from Mcintosh High School and went on to attend Bemidji State University to study nursing.  She had a variety of jobs throughout her life, quite often holding down two at once.  She sold Kirby Vacuums, worked at Pamida, was known as Pat from Penney’s while she worked in the catalog department, was a waitress and bartender at the Diamond, and worked as a cook and in the thrift store at the Care and Share in Crookston, MN.  In her later years, she volunteered with the foster grandparent program through Green Thumb at Carmen School and was lovingly known as Grandma Pat.  In her free time, she enjoyed bowling, bingo, making ceramics, plastic canvas cross stitch, and doing find-a-word puzzles.  Most of all she enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.

Pat is survived by her daughter, Robynn Stanislowski, and significant other, Scott Rodahl of Crookston, MN; grandson, Tyler and wife Jessica Sannes of Erskine, MN, with great-grandchildren, Tywin and Twyla; sisters, Kathy Brosemer of Hazelgreen, AL, and Raenelle and husband Rich Simmons of Crookston, MN; and brother, Frank, and wife Paulette Stanislowski of Perham, MN; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents; infant sister, Mary; brothers, Bob and Gerald Stanislowski; niece, Tammy Stanislowski; infant granddaughter, Anez; and grandnephew, Jordan Stanislowski.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Patricia Stanislowski will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 23, 2021, in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Crookston with The Very Rev. Vincent Miller, presiding, and Deacon Dennis Bivens, homilist. Visitation with the family will be for one prior to the service. Masks will be required and social distancing observed. The Mass will be live-streamed by logging on to www.crookstoncathedral.com and following the prompt for funerals/burials to view the service. Inurnment will follow at the Calvary Cemetery in Crookston.
