PHONE SCAMMERS CLAIM TO BE RAISING FUNDS FOR CROOKSTON ATHLETIC TEAMS

Crookston Public Schools was recently informed that someone has been calling from a toll-free number claiming to be from Crookston High School and raising funds for CHS sports teams. They want to inform everyone that this is not an official communication from Crookston Public Schools or any of their Booster Clubs. Crookston Public Schools and its Booster Clubs will only fundraise through written and in-person communications. They will not solicit funds via phone or an automated system. They are currently working with the Crookston Police Department to get this word out about these fraudulent calls.
