The Crookston Pirate Girls Basketball team is competing in the final day of the Wisconsin Dells Shootout today with four games.
The day got off to a good start with a 35-30 victory over St. James (MN). In the second game, Crookston beat Highland (Illinois) 44-42 in overtime. The Pirate girls won another close one in their third game of the day with a 45-42 victory over Cloquet.
The Pirates ended the day by beating Caledonia 34-29. Crookston went 4-0 on the day and 5-1 in the tournament with the lone loss to Goodhue.
