After a rain delay of about 20 minutes, Hoerner came back with a vengeance, taking the second set 6-2 before winning the super tiebreak 10-8, allowing her to move on to the championship match, where she beat Morehead’s Sammy Stage 6-4, 6-0 to take the crown.
In third singles, Lauren Tull was in absolute cruise control, as she did not drop a single set all day. She beat EGF’s Lola Bina 6-1, 6-1, then shut out the Lakers’ Ella Lanson 6-0, 6-0, and took the title with a straight set win over Lauren Palmer of Morehead by a score of 6-3, 6-3.

SECOND PLACE
Ashlyn Bailey showcased why she is first singles for the Pirates in her first two matches, as she took down Kelli Sharie of Detroit Lakes 6-0, 6-2, and then shut out Lily Grafstrom of Morehead 6-0, 6-0. She then made it to the championship match against Ruby Leach. and the match went in the opposite direction, as it was interrupted by two brief rain delays, and that may have played a factor, as Leach won 6-3, 7-5 to push Bailey to second place.
Also finishing in second place was second doubles, the team of Ava Martin and Logan Brekken. They looked fantastic in the first two matches of the day, as they beat doubles teams from WDC and Detroit Lakes in straight sets. They then played in what could be considered the match of the day against Daisy Omange and Adelie King of EGF. The Pirates took the first set 5-7, dropped the second set 6-4, and then were overwhelmed in the final set, losing it 10-7 to claim second place.
FOURTH PLACE
In fourth place was the first doubles pairing of Emma LaPlante and Chloe Boll. They won their first match in straight sets, but lost their last two matches to end in fourth place.
