Pirate Swimmers Come Up Short In 3 Duals

The Crookston Pirate Girl’s Swim team came up short in all three “duals” with losses to Thief River Falls, Grand Forks Central and Grand Forks Red River in a quadrangular at the Crookston Community Pool.  The teams only swam once, but the times were taken and compared to the other teams for the “dual” scores.  The Pirates had one first-place finish with Thea Oman winning the 100 Freestyle race.  Thea also had three third-place finishes in the 200 Freestyle and she was on the 200 Meter and 200 Freestyle relay teams.  Madison Hoiland had second-place finishes in the 50 Freestyle and the 100 Breaststroke and she was on the third-place relay teams.  Claire Oman was the other Pirate individual to have a top-three finish with a third place in the 200 IM.  Crookston will host Moorhead for a dual on Tuesday, October 23.  The team scores are below.
