PIRATE TRACK TEAMS COMPETE AT SECTION TRUE TEAM, WEST MARSHALL GIRLS WILL ADVANCE TO STATE

The Crookston Pirate Boys and Girls Track teams competed in the Section 8A True Team Track and Field meet in International Falls. 17 of the 18 events were completed. Due to the rain, the pole vault wasn’t held because of safety concerns, so the teams will conduct the pole vault at their own facilities on Wednesday.

The Crookston Girls are in seventh place with 246.5 points, while West Marshall will win the meet as they have 508 points, 106 more than Bagley/Fosston.

The Pirate Boys finished ninth out of nine teams with 107 points, while Roseau leads with 427 points, only 6 points better than second-place Bagley/Fosston and 24.5 points better than Walker-Hackensack-Akeley.
