What comes to mind when you say or hear the word “Chocolate?” Do you envision a scrumptious cake? A melt-in-your-mouth brownie? A simple chocolate chip cookie? A favorite candy bar? Whatever it may be, we would like to invite you to share your favorite chocolate dessert with us at the Polk County Fair Chocolate Contest.
The Chocolate Contest was a delicious event held Wednesday evening at the Polk County Fair. A big THANKS to the sponsors, which include IBC Company LLC, Lindfors Insurance Agency, and Zina Ivanov with USA Realty LLC.
This year’s Chocolate Contest will be held on Wednesday, July 10. Entries must be submitted at the Hanson Free Stage by 6:30 p.m., and judging will begin at 7:00 p.m. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three winners in both adult and youth categories.
Adult prizes include:
1st place – $75.00
2nd place – $50.00
3rd place – $40.00.
Youth prizes include:
1st place – $25.00
2nd place $20.00
3rd place – $15.00.
