On Wednesday, August 11 at 5:00 pm the Polk County Sheriff’s Office and Fertile Fire Department responded to a grass fire located at Joanne Koelling’s residence rural Fertile.
The fire destroyed two buildings, one vehicle, and a Wild Rice Electric power pole. The property damage value is unknown at this time.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. No further information at this time.
