TWO VEHICLES INVOLVED IN CRASH ON US HWY 75 AND COUNTY ROAD 21

On Monday, April 1 the Polk County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to CO 21 and HWY 75 in Euclid Township for a two-vehicle accident. It was reported that one vehicle was in the ditch and hit a power pole and the other vehicle was blocking the road. When Deputies arrived on scene they noticed a 2015 White Dodge Ram in the roadway and a 2005 Red Ford F-150 in the southwest ditch. Charles Lewis Regan of Thompson ND drove the 2015 Dodge Ram and James Michael Evitts of Climax drove the 2005 Ford F-150. The Ford F-150 had two passengers, Eric Allen Howe, and Joseph John Brackin also from Climax. Eric, James, and Joseph all sustained minor injuries and were brought to Riverview Hospital to be checked out. Charles was cited for failure to yield at a stop sign.
