POLK COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE FINDS MISSING 20-MONTH-OLD CHILD

On June 12, 2022, The Polk County Sheriff’s Office received a report missing 20-month-old child who walked from a residence in Fisher Township. It was reported that the child had possibly walked into the nearby woods that surround the property.

Law enforcement and first responders responded to the area. Responding units from Fisher Fire Department located the missing child in a field approximately a quarter mile away from the reporting party’s residence. The child was checked out by Crookston Area Ambulance as a precaution and was found to be ok. The child was reunited with their family.
