On Friday, December 28 the Polk County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search warrant at a residence in Columbia Township. Deputies located several items of interest including drug paraphernalia, 
a firearm, and ammunition. As a result of the search, 29-year-old Cory Goldsmith was placed under arrest for being an ineligible person in possession of a firearm and a controlled substance possession crime.
The Minnesota State Patrol assisted with the execution of the search warrant. No further information is being released at this time.
