POLK COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE RESPONDS TO FISHER SCHOOL BUS IN DITCH

On Tuesday, December 10, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the area of 225th St SW and 390th Ave SW for a Fisher School District bus that had entered the ditch. 12 students were on board at the time of the incident. When deputies arrived they discovered that three of the students, ages 7, 8 and 9, were advising of minor injuries. They were later treated on scene by Altru Ambulance and East Grand Forks Fire and released to family members. The driver of the bus was Ken Robinson (51) of Fisher, MN.

 Alcohol was not a factor in the incident.

At this time the incident is still under investigation and no further information will be released at this time.

The Minnesota State Patrol also assisted.
