Yesterday at approximately 1:56 P.M. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office was called to a rural Crookston residence for a suspected unused munition round found on the property. The Grand Forks Regional bomb squad assisted in detonating the munition round and there were no injuries from this incident. No further details will be released at this time.
Assisting agencies included Crookston Area Ambulance, Crookston Fire Department, and Grand Forks Regional Bomb Squad unit.
