Red Lake County Baseball takes on Madelia in State Championship on Monday

The Red Lake County Rebel Baseball team has won two one-run games in the first round of the Class A State Baseball tournament and will play the Madelia Blackhawks in the 2026 State Championship game at Target Field on Monday, June 15 at 10:00 AM.

Red Lake County is making its eighth state tournament appearance (7 as Red Lake County and one as Red Lake Falls) and is 27-2 on the year after beating Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton 4-3 in the first round and beating South Ridge 4-3 in the semi-finals. Madelia is making its second state tournament appearance and is 28-3 on the year after beating New York Mills 8-2 in the first round and Murray County Central 9-2 in the semi-finals.
