Crookston City Council, Ways and Means Committee will meet on Monday, June 15

The Crookston City Council will meet on Monday, June 15th, at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers.

The city will issue a proclamation declaring the week of June 15th-20th as Fraternal Order of Eagles Week, as the Eagles Club will be the host of the 123rd annual State Aerie and Auxiliary Convention.

The consent agenda includes approval of the minutes from the June 1st meeting, approval of bills and disbursements totaling $508,471.23, approval of the 2026 Gas Fitters and Cement Mason License, approval of Summerhill Management, Inc. for a tobacco license at the Crookston Inn, and approval of Two Captains, Inc. for a tobacco license at the Crooks Bar and Bottle Shop.

The regular agenda includes resolutions approving the Business Development Infrastructure Application, the application for USDA intermediary Relending Program (IRP) funding, an amendment to the Nature View Estates Plat 5 Developer Agreement regarding the potential $10,000 special assessment and eligibility of the city’s Housing Tax Abatement Program, and the execution of a temporary easement to the State of Minnesota for highway improvements associated with State Project No. 6002-76RW.

Immediately following the City Council meeting, the Ways and Means Committee will hold a meeting at the City Hall Council Chambers. Their open agenda includes discussions on Houston Erosion and the city’s budget.
