The Red Lake County Sheriff’s Office weekly recap is below –
On the evening of 08/23/19, Tyler Jacob Sumner (24) of Barnesville was cited for speeding on Hwy. #32 south of Red Lake Falls.
On the evening of 08/23/19, the Red Lake County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a domestic dispute that occurred inside of a vehicle that was traveling within Red Lake County. The reporting party claimed this dispute continued at a residence in Red Lake Falls. A Red Lake County deputy spoke with the victim and it was determined that a domestic assault had occurred, but the suspect had left the area. On the evening of 08/24/19, Jarvis Paul Anthony Kuznia (35) of Red Lake Falls was located and arrested. He was taken to the jail in Crookston and booked for misdemeanor domestic assault. Kuznia appeared in Court in Crookston on 08/26/19. He was released on the condition not to have any contact with the victim.
On the morning of 08/25/19, the Red Lake County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a domestic assault that occurred at a Red Lake Falls residence the previous evening. Later that afternoon, the suspect, David Michael Tsosie (32) of Red Lake Falls was located and apprehended. He was taken to the jail in Crookston and booked for misdemeanor domestic assault. On 08/26/19, he appeared in Court in Crookston and he was released on the condition not to have any contact with the victim.
On 08/26/19, Kyle Travis Edgar (35) of Grand Forks, ND was transported from the Beltrami County jail to the jail in Crookston by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office. Polk County held an active warrant for his arrest, along with Red Lake County and Roseau County. Mr. Edgar appeared in Court in Red Lake Falls on 08/28/19 to address his Red Lake County warrant. He is still in custody at the time of this release.
On 08/26/19, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office reported they had arrested Joseph Kilen Werman (36) of Crookston. Red Lake County held an active felony warrant for him for violating the terms of his supervised probation. Mr. Werman appeared in Court in Red Lake Falls on 08/28/19. He is still in custody at the jail in Crookston.
On the evening of 08/27/19, Eric Herbert Reinhardt (35) of Red Lake Falls was issued a civil citation for allowing his dog to run at large in the city of Red Lake Falls.
On 08/28/19, two theft reports were received from Red Lake Falls residents. Those reports are still under investigation.
On the afternoon of 08/28/19, Cathrine A. Currie (62) of Rio Rancho, NM was cited for speeding on Hwy. #32 south of Red Lake Falls.
On the morning of 08/29/19, an Oklee resident reported they may have been a victim of a fraudulent phone scam. That matter is still under investigation.
On the evening of 08/29/19, Tristan Wade Amiot (22) of Red Lake Falls was cited for violating the restrictions of his instructional driver’s license permit.
